Role Overview The Senior Compliance Specialist will oversee and manage statutory, regulatory, and corporate compliance activities for a portfolio of clients. The role involves ensuring timely filings, maintaining accurate records, advising on regulatory requirements, and leading compliance improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end compliance requirements under Shops & Establishments, Labour Laws, and other applicable regulations. Prepare, review, and file statutory returns, reports, and legal documents within specified timelines. Conduct periodic compliance audits and maintain compliance trackers for clients. Advise clients on regulatory changes, risk assessment, and compliance best practices. Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and stakeholders for queries and inspections. Draft and review compliance-related documentation, resolutions, and agreements. Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure quality output. Support internal process improvements and contribute to building compliance frameworks. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field. 3-4 years of hands-on experience in corporate and regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws, labour laws, tax compliance, and regulatory norms. Excellent documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in compliance tools, MS Office, and digital filing portals. Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high accuracy.
