Role Overview The Social Media & Marketing Manager will be responsible for handling day-to-day digital marketing functions across all restaurant brands. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while staying aligned with the company’s goals. Key Responsibilities • Customer Engagement o Respond to direct messages, comments, and inquiries on social media platforms. o Monitor and reply to online reviews (Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable) using a professional, brand-aligned voice. • Social Media & Campaign Management o Manage and schedule posts across all brand accounts. o Create and manage targeted ads, including posting in foodie groups and local community groups. o Monitor relevant foodie, lifestyle, and community Facebook/WhatsApp groups for posting opportunities and responding to inquiries about dining or catering. o Collaborate with leadership to plan seasonal promotions and digital campaigns. • Corporate Outreach Support o Assist with digital introductions for corporate catering opportunities (draft outreach emails, maintain prospect lists, follow up on catering leads). • Email, SMS & Loyalty Marketing o Build and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns. o Maintain and grow subscriber lists while ensuring clean segmentation (VIPs, catering clients, first-time diners, etc.). o Support loyalty program campaigns through integrated restaurant platforms. • Content Design & Digital Presence o Use Canva to create flyers, graphics, and promotional materials for campaigns and events. o Update restaurant websites as needed (menus, events, promotions, seasonal changes). o Ensure menu updates (specials, seasonal changes) are pushed across all platforms: website, OpenTable, Toast, Google Business o Repurpose provided photo/video content into creative digital assets. o Ensure consistency of branding across all digital platforms. • Reporting & Analytics o Build and maintain a monthly marketing/social calendar across all brands (specials, promotions, campaigns, holidays). o Track, analyze, and report performance of social media, ads, email, and campaigns. o Maintain a shared cloud library of menus, event flyers, promo images, and videos so managers and staff can quickly access updated materials. o Track what comparable restaurants in Houston/Texas are doing on social, promotions, and digital campaigns. Share monthly insights to inspire new ideas. o Research trending hashtags, food holidays, and digital formats (e.g., Reels/TikTok styles) to suggest to the local team for shooting content. o Provide recommendations for improvement based on performance insights. • Team Collaboration o Attend weekly video calls with upper management to align goals and tasks. o Collaborate with the operations and culinary teams to stay up to date on offerings, events, and brand updates. Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or similar roles. • Strong written English communication skills (must be able to match brand voice). • Familiarity with hospitality or restaurant industry preferred. • Experience with: o Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). o Review platforms (Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable). o Canva or other design tools. o Email/text platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar). o Meta Business Suite for ads management. o Basic website editing (Wix, WordPress, or similar). o AI (ChatGPT or similar). • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple brands simultaneously. •
