Legal Entity Reporting - Manager

The Officer, LE Reporting at State Street Corporation's Corporate Finance division is responsible for leading the preparation of statutory and board of director reporting for non-public company requirements across multiple jurisdictions reporting under US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. This role involves assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements, board of director reporting, and other ad hoc reporting requirements. The successful candidate will be a strong, decisive, results-oriented individual capable of developing and maintaining relationships across State Street and with various associates. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. Specific responsibilities include providing accounting and reporting assistance for statutory financial statement reporting, collaborating with controllers and accounting policy for developing disclosures, working in a collaborative environment with global teams, and participating in the automation and standardization of reporting processes. Candidates should have a proven track record of business success, with a minimum of 7-8 years of overall experience, preferably in a large financial services company or public accounting. Experience in accounting and finance with a strong technical knowledge of financial services industry accounting and reporting is required. Additionally, candidates should have a working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards, strong communication and presentation skills, and a high level of interpersonal skills and integrity. The ideal candidate should hold a Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification.
