The Design Engineer will be responsible for structural design and detailing of pre-engineered steel buildings (PEBs). This role involves end-to-end engagement in design, drafting, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery. Key Responsibilities Create and update structural design and detail drawings for PEB projects, including general arrangement (GA), erection, sheeting, and shop drawings. Prepare fabrication drawings and material take-offs (BOQs). Perform structural analysis and design of PEB systems using Auto CAD, Tekla and other relevant tools. Ensure designs meet relevant building codes, IS standards, client specifications, and technical guidelines. Manage multiple design assignments in parallel, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and project budgets. Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and site engineers for seamless execution of design intent. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency in design software :Auto CAD, Tekla, MS Office and other structural tools. Experience :More than 5 years of experience particularly in Pre-Engineered Buildings/ Steel structures/ Fabrication & Erection projects.Strong understanding of steel structure design, fabrication techniques, and material specifications Gender : Male / Female candidates preferred Location: Perumbavoor, Ernakulam Accommodation : Provided (male) Salary : Salary will be determined based on the candidate’s Salary, relevant experience, and performance during the interview process.
