Learning Operation Specialist (US Shift)

As a Learning Operations Specialist in the US Shift at Applied Materials, you will be at the forefront of managing and executing training programs using tools such as SABA and ServiceNow. Your role will be pivotal in collaborating closely with the Organization & Talent Effectiveness team to ensure the seamless planning and implementation of various training initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the execution of training programs planned by the OTE team, utilizing the SABA tool for managing learning content and reporting progress, coordinating with function domain owners to ensure adherence to training schedules, and managing training-related requests and tickets through ServiceNow. You will also be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring training projects to ensure they meet deadlines and quality standards, as well as developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Effective communication and collaboration will be key aspects of your role, as you will maintain communication with the OTE team and other stakeholders, provide regular updates on training program status, and facilitate meetings and discussions to align training objectives with organizational goals. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, along with 4-7 years of experience in Learning program management. Experience with Learning Management systems and Case management tools, preferably SABA and ServiceNow, will be advantageous. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent organizational and time-management abilities, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, Pivots, charts, etc.) are also required. In addition, personal attributes such as being flexible and adaptable to changing environments, strong execution skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results, customer-oriented, collaborative team player with a proactive approach will be highly valued in this role.
