What would you do? oKnowledge of advanced instructional design techniques and topics, adult learning theory, and web-based development tools oStrong written communication skills - working knowledge of editorial requirements grammar and instructional design of materials; attention to detail to ensure qualityoAdvanced oral communication skills - ability to facilitate client SMEs and sponsor discussions to set expectations and ensure appropriate involvementoMust be skilled in several instructional approaches (web-based, instructor-led, or virtual instructor-led training)oKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project)oAbility to plan and estimate tasks; knowledge of project management tools including workplanning and resource schedulingoAdvanced knowledge of issue identification and problem-solving toolsoIdentify detailed learning objectives for each course based on business drivers and performance goals; map course content to appropriate learning objectivesoFacilitate project kick-off meeting with internal team to build understanding of the client and project; set expectations with team based on individual development plans and course scheduleExecute training solutions production on all types of development projectsoFacilitate development of course content and media requirements according to project workplan and scheduleoOversee integration of content into learning product based on conceptual design and according to CDC process standards oIdentify learning-related issues such as content sequencing, flow of information and relevancy of mediaoEvaluate materials to ensure that learning objectives have been met and appropriately satisfy performance gaps.oReview deliverables for completeness, compliance with standards, and consistency with the detailed design; prepare materials for manager reviewoCreate test plan; lead course usability, testing and implementation of corrective actionsoProvide oversight on content revisions given feedback from internal and client reviewers or stakeholders, manage work effort to maintain scopeSupport training solutions development processoCoordinate project activities between all disciplines including media, technology, project management, client onsite or business interlock and delivery teams oIdentify continuous improvement areas based on lessons learned; modify process steps as appropriate for client situation with direction from manageroCollaborate with team, peers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) via professional communication channels to maintain relationshipsWhat are we looking for?
Assume design leadership responsibilities by assisting in creating recommendations for course design based on preliminary or conceptual design informationoCreate initial conceptual designs (based on proven instructional theory) that meet business requirements.oComplete detailed designs based on high-level module designs.oDevelop instruction modules and materials based on design specifications.oConducts audience and needs analyses to confirm appropriateness of learning objectivesoSet direction for the reflection, coaching, delivery and performance support strategyoDefine field trial and acceptance test approaches based on client needs and scheduleoDetermines how to capture feedback and how SMEs will review or participate in field trialsoFacilitate content gathering from Subject Matter Experts to create course designEnsure overall quality, integrity, organization and execution of the learning design meets agreed-to quality criteria and business objectives.oCreate detailed workplan for each effort based on defined budget and resource planoConfirm client subject matter expert agreement of detailed schedule and involvement throughout process, set expectations for remainder of effort. oMonitor course assessment results against expected service level agreementsLead project initiativesoManage smaller learning asset development projects (those with less risk and/ or complexity as defined by the Project Manager)oEstimate effort (cost or output hours), create the approach and timeline, create the resource plan and schedule oDevelop and execute project communication planoFacilitate interactions between the development, technical and media teams to ensure clear communications between all groupsComplete project administration tasksoProvide coaching to team members regarding topics such as CDC process, quality metrics and professional behaviors.oReport status including estimates to complete work; identify potential risks and recommendations for mitigation.oRequest feedback related to deliverables and own and team performance, suggest and execute action items.
Roles and Responsibilities: In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or team leads Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
