Lead Structural Design

As a Lead - Structural Design at the Global Design Center (GDC) Office in Bangalore, your role involves supervising and leading the implementation of Civil & Structural (C&S) works for energy and power projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing C&S design works for various energy and power-related projects - Preparing material take-offs for cost estimation - Creating tender specifications and presentation materials You will also be engaged in Marine and Infrastructure planning & design, conducting pre-consultations with authorities, feasibility studies, conceptual & detailed design, and supporting business development activities. Efficiently managing assigned tasks and delivering satisfactory results within tight timelines are crucial aspects of this role. There might be requirements for site supervision or a site residential role, requiring the ability to work under harsh site conditions if needed. Ideal candidates for this position should have a degree in Civil Engineering, with a Master's degree being advantageous. A minimum of 15 years of post-graduate working experience, particularly in the energy and power industry, is necessary. Proficiency in Eurocodes, MS & BS Codes, NFPA, API, and ACI standards is expected. Candidates with experience in gas/thermal power projects will be given preference.
