Lead Specialist Software Engineer - Datastage

As an experienced Datawarehouse engineer with strong skills in DataStage, your role will involve independently designing components, developing code, and testing case scenarios using relevant software craftsmanship principles. Your main responsibilities will include: - Designing components, developing code, and testing case scenarios using DataStage - Working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and schedulers like CTRL-M to automate data workflows To qualify for this role, you should meet the following requirements: - A minimum of 7 years of experience in DataStage and Teradata development within Data Warehousing projects, preferably in the Banking domain - Proven leadership experience in Agile environments, actively driving Agile ceremonies and fostering team collaboration - Strong expertise in Unix commands and scripting, with the ability to guide and mentor team members - Extensive experience in Data Warehousing/ETL projects, including data governance and quality assurance - Experience leading end-to-end project delivery and managing multiple individual contributors - Proficient in Control-M for scheduling Unix jobs, with oversight of job scheduling strategies - Advanced SQL skills with analytical expertise to identify data anomalies and lead resolution efforts - Knowledge of Cloud tools like Snowflake is a plus - Skilled in stakeholder communication and translating technical challenges and business requirements effectively between BAs, developers, and operations teams - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex business requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with all stakeholders, including senior management.,
