Lead Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities / What You Will Do

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer and support Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and security policies.
• Manage and optimize Palo Alto Prisma Access for secure remote connectivity and cloud security.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Juniper switching infrastructure.
• Deploy and support Juniper Mist with wireless networking solutions, including access points and cloud-managed environments.
• Monitor network performance and implement improvements to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Manage and troubleshoot DNS services, including resolution issues, zone management, and DNS security.
• Perform network capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Implement network security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for network incidents and provide timely resolution.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams on network-related projects.
• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical reports.
• Participate in on-call support and incident management activities as required.
  

Required Technical Skills

• Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, Routing, Switching, DHCP and VPN technologies.
• DNS: DNS Architecture and Administration, Forward and Reverse Lookup Zones, Troubleshooting Name Resolution Issues, DNS Security Best Practices
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Security: Palo Alto Firewalls - Security Policies, NAT Policies, VPN Configuration, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, Global Protect, High Availability (HA)
• Palo Alto Prisma Access: Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Remote User Connectivity, Cloud Security Management, Network Security Integration
• Juniper Technologies: Juniper Switching, EX Series Switches, VLAN Configuration, Layer 2/Layer 3 Switching, Routing Protocols
• Juniper Mist: Wireless LAN Management, Cloud-Based Network Management, AI-Driven Network Operations, Network Analytics and Monitoring
• Juniper Access Points: Deployment and Configuration, Wireless Troubleshooting, Performance Optimization
