Senior Python Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Python.
• Build and integrate robust RESTful APIs and web services.
• Develop solutions using modern Python frameworks such as

  Django, Flask, and FastAPI

  .
• Design and implement secure, high-performance, and reliable software architectures.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to develop efficient data models and optimize database performance.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver business requirements.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, security, and performance optimization.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless application delivery.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with

  Django, Flask, and/or FastAPI

  .
• Solid understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming (OOP), and architectural patterns such as

  Microservices

  and

  MVC

  .
• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Expertise in relational databases such as

  PostgreSQL

  and

  MySQL

  .
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as

  MongoDB

  and

  Cassandra

  .
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including

  AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  .
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as

  Docker

  and orchestration tools like

  Kubernetes

  .
• Experience with CI/CD tools including

  Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions

  .
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency with

  Git/GitHub

  and collaborative development workflows.
• Good understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Experience in application performance tuning, caching, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
