As a Lead Software Engineer within Asset & Wealth Management Technology at JPMorgan Chase, you collaborate with stakeholders to promote the adoption of Site Reliability Engineering tools, practices, and culture. Partnering with Product teams and other LOB SMEs, you play a pivotal role in defining SRE Objectives and driving their delivery. - Demonstrates site reliability principles and practices daily, fostering the adoption of site reliability within your team - Collaborates with others to create robust observability and reliability designs for complex systems - Creates high-quality designs, roadmaps, and program charters for implementation - Ensures systems follow firm-wide resiliency patterns and undergo regular resiliency testing - Provides guidance and mentoring to fellow engineers, serving as a key resource for technical and business-related issues - Works towards becoming an expert on applications and platforms, understanding their interdependencies and limitations - Champions SRE culture through various programs, initiatives, and innovation efforts - Makes significant contributions to JPMorgan Chase's site reliability community **Qualifications Required:** - 10+ years of experience in software engineering - Proficiency in site reliability culture and principles, with a track record of implementing site reliability in applications or platforms - Knowledge and experience in observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, Open Telemetry, etc. - Understanding of cloud infrastructure and microservice design principles to apply SRE best practices - Ability to design automation solutions using programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ - Active contributor to the engineering community - Strong communication skills for mentoring and educating others on site reliability practices,
