Lead Software Engineer / LMTS - Backend

Role Overview: You will be part of Salesforce's software development team, collaborating with exceptional engineers to create impactful lines of code that enhance customer experience and ensure the stability and scalability of the CRM platform. Your role will involve architecture, design, implementation, and testing to deliver high-quality products in a rapidly evolving technology market. Key Responsibilities: - Build new and innovative components to enhance scalability and efficiency in the technology market. - Develop high-quality, production-ready code for millions of users on the cloud platform. - Make design decisions focusing on performance, scalability, and future growth. - Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing. - Create efficient components/algorithms in a microservice multi-tenant SaaS cloud environment. - Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to the team. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in multiple programming languages and platforms. - Minimum of 10 years of software development experience. - Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, Go, Node.JS, and C++. - Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases like Postgres, Trino, Redshift, and MongoDB. - Experience in developing SAAS products on public cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Proven track record in designing and developing distributed systems at scale. - Knowledge in queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, workload distribution, and relational/non-relational databases. - Familiarity with software development best practices and leadership skills. - Degree or equivalent relevant experience required, with evaluation based on core competencies.
