Lead Software Engineer - Front-End Engineer (React Native)

You will play a key role as a Lead Software Engineer - Front-End Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, a flat-structure organization. Your main objective is to deliver cutting-edge solutions through cloud-native microservices architecture applications by utilizing the latest technologies and industry best practices. Your involvement will span from designing and architecting solutions to overseeing the entire software development lifecycle stages. To excel in this role, you should have formal training or certification in JavaScript concepts along with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience. Your expertise should encompass a strong command over JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ syntax, proficiency in writing testable and clean JavaScript code, familiarity with writing unit tests, adaptability to work in an agile environment across geographically distributed teams, prompt responsiveness to customer needs, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in the React framework, experience in building applications using React Native in TypeScript or JavaScript, native application development on Android/iOS using Kotlin/Swift, understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL, comfort with projects utilizing TypeScript, familiarity with the latest React features like Suspense and Hooks, and expertise in end-to-end testing applications with Detox, Appium, or WebdriverIO.
