Lead Software Engineer/ Architect

As a Lead Software Engineer/Architect at izmocars, you will be joining our Bangalore team and playing a crucial role in designing and maintaining scalable, high-performance architecture patterns across full stack systems. Your responsibilities will include leading cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability of data-intensive systems, overseeing system integrations and RESTful API development, and providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers. To excel in this role, you should have strong experience (10-14 years) in full stack application development and architecture. Proficiency in PHP, with hands-on experience in Symfony or Laravel, and a solid grasp of LAMP stack development (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) are essential. Additionally, experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, and backend expertise in Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails will be beneficial. You should also possess a strong knowledge of RESTful API design, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. A deep understanding of data modeling, large-scale database design, and query optimization, along with experience in version control systems (Git) and Agile development, will be valuable. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience with high-volume data handling, queueing techniques, and performance tuning, and exposure to cloud-native architecture and microservices.
