Description
As a Lead QE Engineer at Solifi, you will play a crucial role in supporting a growing team to deliver a high-quality finance product. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing functional tests, participating in regression activities, and ensuring the product meets specifications before release. You will develop test plans, test cases, and scripts, and supervise testing activities. Your expertise in test and defect management tools such as JIRA and Zephyr will be essential, along with a strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services. Additionally, you will conduct exploratory testing to identify defects, review test logs, and suggest improvements for testing processes. You will also be responsible for writing new test cases, documenting test data and results, and writing SQL queries. Your ability to capture UI properties using xPath or CSS locators will be beneficial for the role. As an experienced QE lead, you are expected to have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. You should have experience working with onsite teams, configuring and running functional automated tests, testing APIs using automation tools, and working with tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Jenkins, GIT, Postman, Selenium, and Karate. Familiarity with Web Front-End Technologies like JavaScript and HTML, source control tools (SVN/GIT), and Agile environments is required. Your experience in leading QE teams and holding ISTQB foundation/intermediate certification will be valuable assets in this role.
