Position: Lead Executive Program Management
Work Location: Peenya, Bengaluru.
Job Overview
The Executive Program Management is responsible for supporting the end-to-end execution of aerospace programs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, timelines, and business objectives. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing customer interactions, and driving on-time delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong customer-focused mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program & Project Management
- Support the planning, execution, and closure of aerospace programs and new projects.
- Monitor program timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-scope execution.
- Track program performance, risks, and dependencies, and escalate issues as required.
2. New Project Introduction (NPI)
- Coordinate new project initiation activities, including planning, resource alignment, and execution.
- Work closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure a smooth project ramp-up and delivery.
3. Order Management & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end order lifecycle to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Coordinate with internal teams to track order status, resolve bottlenecks, and meet delivery commitments.
4. Customer Relationship & Business Development
- Act as a key interface for customers, ensuring effective communication and high satisfaction levels.
- Support business development initiatives through customer engagement and relationship management.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and support proposal and quotation activities.
5. Cross-functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Sourcing, SCM, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams for seamless execution.
- Ensure alignment across functions to meet program objectives related to cost, quality, and delivery.
6. Communication & Reporting
- Prepare and deliver program status reports, presentations, and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular review meetings with customers and internal teams.
- Maintain clear and effective communication across all levels.
7. Special Process knowledge
- Heat Treatment (annealing, carburising, nitriding)
- Welding & Brazing
- Surface Treatments (anodising, plating, coating, painting)
- Chemical Processing
- Special Machining (EDM, laser machining)
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in Program/Project Management, preferably in Aerospace or Manufacturing
- Exposure to program lifecycle management, order management, and customer handling
- An understanding of the aerospace/defense or EMS industry is preferred.
