Your role is crucial in setting the bar for design quality at Upstox, ensuring that design remains central to product development. **Key Responsibilities:** - **End-to-End Design Ownership:** Lead the discovery, ideation, and delivery for high-impact fintech product areas. - **Design Systems Leadership:** Develop and enhance a scalable, cross-platform design system to maintain consistency and speed. - **Craft Pixel-Perfect Solutions:** Transform user needs, research findings, and strategies into visually appealing and functional designs. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and compliance teams. - **Measure & Iterate:** Establish design KPIs, validate impact through analytics and feedback, and continuously refine designs. - **Design Evangelism:** Influence stakeholders and promote design thinking throughout the product lifecycle. **Qualifications Required:** - 7+ years of product design experience, preferably in consumer-tech, fintech, or large-scale platforms. - Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and hands-on execution of user-facing products. - Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and design system management. - Deep understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, and compliance standards. - Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale effectively. - Self-directed, adaptable, and motivated by solving ambiguous, high-impact problems. - Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
