Short Description

IBM Maximo Manage Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, customize, and maintain

    IBM Maximo Manage

    to support IT asset lifecycle and operational workflows.
  • Implement and manage

    ITAM

    processes including asset discovery, tracking, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain

    configuration management databases (CMDB)

    and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT operations, infrastructure, and service management teams to align Maximo with business needs.
  • Perform system administration tasks including user management, security roles, and workflow automation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Maximo performance, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for asset performance, lifecycle status, and compliance metrics.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience with

    IBM Maximo Manage

    in an enterprise IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of

    IT Asset Management (ITAM)

    and

    Configuration Management

    principles.
  • Experience with

    Maximo Application Designer

    ,

    Database Configuration

    , and

    Automation Scripts

    .
  • Proficiency in

    SQL

    ,

    Java

    , or

    Python

    for Maximo customization and reporting.
  • Familiarity with

    ITIL processes

    , especially

    Change

    ,

    Incident

    , and

    Problem Management

    .
  • Knowledge of

    system administration

    , including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience integrating Maximo with

    ERP systems

    discovery tools

    cloud-based Maximo deployments

    (e.g., IBM Maximo Application Suite on AWS/Azure).
  • Exposure to

    mobile asset management

    is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in

    Information Technology

    Computer Science
