Job Description

Java Lead Developer

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, experience in designing and developing scalable applications, and the ability to lead development activities while ensuring high-quality code and engineering practices.

Required Technical Skills

  • Programming:

    Strong experience in

    Java 8+.

  • Testing:

    TDD, Unit Testing, Mocking frameworks (Mockito, etc.).

  • BDD:

    Experience with Cucumber and BDD practices.

  • Frameworks:

    Spring Framework, Spring Boot.

  • Architecture:

    SOA, Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs.

  • Messaging:

    RabbitMQ, AMQP, JMS, Apache Kafka.

  • Persistence:

    SQL, JDBC, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data.

  • Build Tools:

    Maven, Gradle.

  • Databases:

    PostgreSQL, Oracle, In-Memory Databases.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java-based applications.
  • Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Drive coding standards, best practices, and code quality.
  • Implement unit testing, TDD, and BDD practices.
  • Work with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Optimize application performance and database queries.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor developers.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive their resolution.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong hands-on Java development and technical leadership experience.
  • Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of technical deliverables and guide development teams.
