Lead IoT Engineer

You will be joining Statcon Electronics India Limited as a Lead IoT Engineer in the R&D team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and integrate IoT solutions for next-generation power electronics and energy systems. In this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of IoT protocols, cloud integration, and edge device development. Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership skills and contribute directly to product development while mentoring other team members. Your key responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and deployment of IoT-enabled systems for power and energy management applications. You will be tasked with architecting secure and scalable IoT solutions, integrating various protocols for edge-to-cloud communication, and working closely with embedded and hardware teams to ensure seamless device-level connectivity. Furthermore, you will interface with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or similar for telemetry, control, and analytics, while implementing security best practices in IoT design. To excel in this role, you should hold a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or a related field, along with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in IoT system design and deployment. Proficiency in embedded systems, edge computing, wireless communication protocols, and programming languages like C/C++, Python, and Node.js is essential. Experience with microcontroller platforms and cloud integration tools will be beneficial. Moreover, familiarity with IoT security frameworks, debugging tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
