Role Description Role: Senior ServiceNow Developer Experience: 7 to 9 Years Location: Pune / Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Trivandrum/ Kochi / Noida Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with extensive experience in developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, and various ServiceNow modules, along with expertise in scripting, integrations, and system architecture. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to lead development initiatives, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize ServiceNow solutions. Must-Have Skills 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, working across multiple modules. Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, jQuery, and UI/UX customization. Strong experience with ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, Service Portal, and Catalogs. Knowledge of ATF (Automated Test Framework) for ServiceNow testing and validation. Hands-on experience with Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party tool integrations. Strong understanding of data management, reporting, and Performance Analytics. Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, cloning, and system administration. Good-to-Have Skills Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Experience with SSO, LDAP, MID Server, and OAuth authentication mechanisms. Knowledge of Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping for ITOM enhancements. Understanding of ServiceNow Flow Designer and Scripted REST APIs. ITIL v4 Foundation Certification. Roles And Responsibilities ServiceNow Development & Customization Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, and UI components in ServiceNow. Configure and enhance ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, HRSD, and Security Operations. Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, and workflows. Utilize ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Scripted REST APIs for process automation. Create and maintain custom dashboards and reports using ServiceNow Performance Analytics. ServiceNow Integrations & API Development Develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML. Implement SSO, LDAP, MID Server, and OAuth authentication mechanisms. Configure web services, data transformations, and event-based integrations. CMDB & ITOM Support Support Configuration Management Database (CMDB) design, data integrity, and reconciliation. Implement Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping for ITOM enhancements. Process Improvement & Best Practices Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and propose ServiceNow solutions. Ensure development follows best practices, security guidelines, and compliance standards. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and system performance tuning. Lead efforts in automating and optimizing IT service management processes. Incident, Problem & Change Management Support incident, problem, and change management processes within ServiceNow. Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions for system stability and performance. Provide L3/L4 technical support for ServiceNow-related incidents. Mentorship & Leadership Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and ServiceNow development methodologies. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful project execution. Participate in ServiceNow upgrade planning and implementation.
