Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services using Kotlin or Java. You will be responsible for building and optimizing APIs, both RESTful and GraphQL, to cater to internal and external clients. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage AWS services for cloud-native application development and follow Agile methodologies to deliver features incrementally. Your role will also involve ensuring code quality, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Kotlin or Java - Build and optimize APIs, including both RESTful and GraphQL, to serve internal and external clients - Architect and implement systems utilizing Spring Boot or Micronaut - Utilize AWS services for cloud-native application development using CDK, SAM, or CloudFormation - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, DevOps, and Frontend Engineers - Follow Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) for incremental and iterative feature delivery - Ensure code quality and reliability through automated testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices - Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps Qualification Required: - 9+ years of professional backend development experience - Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java - Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and/or Micronaut - Proven experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL - Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially infrastructure-as-code tools like CDK, SAM, or CloudFormation - Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and microservices architecture - Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD and DevOps culture Additional Details: The company is looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer with expertise in Kotlin or Java to join their dynamic and growing team.
