Lead II - Semiconductor Product Validation

You will be responsible for managing Delivery/Stakeholders independently and enabling KPI's. Your role will involve managing test cases from requirements to execution, identifying test case requirements, and writing the test cases. It is crucial to manage customers effectively to ensure no escalations and coordinate with the team efficiently. You will also be required to conduct technical interviews for project requirements and contribute to test case writing for the product. As a Validation Engineer, you will need to isolate and packetize failures to correct components, attend customer meetings to communicate effectively on requirements and results, and report product failures in the test repository and bug tracker. Additionally, you should learn the technology business domain system domain individually and as recommended by the project/account and complete certifications for the role, such as ISTQB UST GAMMA certifications. Your key responsibilities will include managing project deliverables with quality within the defined SLA, supporting the test manager in timely deliverables and test planning, estimating time, effort, and resource dependence for work, creating component level/product behavior documents and test reporting templates, and mentoring junior leads and POCs in the program. To excel in this role, you should possess good presentation skills, diplomacy, bug advocacy skills, automation scripting skills, and the ability to perform severity and priority identification of raised sightings. You must have good analytical skills, written and verbal communication abilities, and the ability to work in a team environment. Additionally, you should understand the product lifecycle and deadline requirements, possess excellent domain knowledge, have good CPU/GPU architecture knowledge, and very good product knowledge. It is desirable for the Validation Engineer to have experience in developing C based validation test cases, knowledge about FPGA boards, and proficiency in Python. Skills required for this role include C, test cases, and FPGA.
