Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with a strong background in Mainframe technologies to provide leadership and guidance to project teams, oversee successful migrations, and uphold the standards of high-quality software development. In this role, you will be responsible for both technical leadership and hands-on development tasks. Your main responsibilities will include leading application development by implementing design patterns and established solutions, translating designs into functional application features, conducting thorough testing and debugging, and documenting the development process. You will also be tasked with ensuring the performance, maintenance, and scalability of applications, as well as leading and supporting mainframe migration projects. As a subject matter expert in DB2, JCL, VSAM, and COBOL, you will play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects successfully. You will validate results with end users, ensure seamless integration, review code, test cases, design documents, and configuration plans, and mentor junior team members to cultivate a culture of high performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving team engagement, enhancing customer satisfaction, and overseeing compliance training initiatives.
