Job Description

You are an experienced Guidewire Rating Business Analyst with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in the insurance domain. You possess a strong background in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter, with expertise in Rating, SBT (Standard-Based Templates), and Cloud Guidewire implementations. Your role involves serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical specifications. Your responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements related to Guidewire Rating and PolicyCenter, conducting workshops, gap analysis, feasibility studies, and stakeholder interviews. Furthermore, you will document business process flows, prepare scenarios, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for the design and delivery of Guidewire solutions. Your expertise will be utilized in creating High-Level Designs (HLDs), architecture documents, and preparing training materials, whitepapers, and marketing collateral. As a Guidewire Rating Business Analyst, you will lead responses to RFPs/RFIs, conduct training sessions on Insurance domain topics and Guidewire products, and provide business and system analysis expertise throughout the SDLC. Your role also involves acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging offshore and onshore teams, and analyzing the impacts of business changes while prioritizing features in collaboration with stakeholders. You must possess at least 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, with a minimum of 2 years of experience working on Guidewire platforms. Proficiency in Guidewire Rating, SBT, Cloud deployments, and experience in the insurance domain is essential. Strong documentation and business analysis skills, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools like JIRA or Confluence are required. Additionally, excellent communication, presentation skills, and the ability to build relationships across technical and business teams are crucial for this role. Nice to have skills include exposure to RFI/RFP processes, pre-sales support activities, creating knowledge capsules, training decks, and contributing to Insurance Center of Excellence initiatives. Prior experience in client-facing roles, proposal development, and business development support would be beneficial for your role as a Guidewire Rating Business Analyst.,
