Job Description

Role Overview: As an Automation Engineer at UST, you will be responsible for automating new test cases across various areas such as UI, SOAP and/or REST Web Services, and relational/non-relational databases. You will leverage your skills in Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, RestAssured, and JDBC to maintain and enhance existing test scripts. Your collaboration with stakeholders and development teams will be crucial in prioritizing automation requirements and ensuring proper configuration before regression executions. Key Responsibilities: - Automate new test cases in areas including UI, SOAP and/or REST Web Services, and relational/non-relational databases using the existing framework. - Maintain and improve existing test scripts across different areas. - Provide detailed updates on automation and regression execution status, with clear reporting from the framework. - Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to prioritize upcoming automation requirements. - Coordinate with functional teams and DevSecOps for data refresh and configuration before regression executions. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, RestAssured, and JDBC. - Experience with XML/JSON parsing and data-driven testing using Feature files, Excel, JSON, etc. - Strong skills in automation testing, functional testing, and SDET. - Familiarity with cloud technologies is a plus.
