Lead I - Software Testing (Javascript Automation)

As a JavaScript Automation Lead at UST in Bangalore, your primary responsibility will be to develop end-to-end test automation scripts and solutions for web/mobile applications testing. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing end-to-end test automation scripts and required solutions - Having good experience and strong knowledge in JavaScript programming with Object-Oriented Programming methodologies - Working with JavaScript-based frameworks like Mocha, Chai as part of Automation - Demonstrating good experience and knowledge in web application UI automation and related tools/packages such as Selenium and Appium - Having exposure to different testing methodologies and QA practices - Showcasing excellent analytical and logical thinking skills to handle challenges and resolve blockers independently - Being self-driven, accountable, and taking ownership of problems to achieve team goals - Contributing independently and being a proactive team player by providing new ideas, suggestions, and solutions You should also have hands-on experience with different tools such as testing tools, Version Control systems (Git), Test Management Software, Bug Tracking software, and CI tools (Jenkins, etc.). Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps, as well as Playwright, is a plus. As a QA/Automation Lead at UST, you will be responsible for the quality and automation of web applications in a non-desktop environment. This includes managing multiple small teams/projects, collaborating with internal clients, management, HR, and admin, and driving the team towards achieving organizational goals.
