Job Description

Role Overview: You are expected to act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. You will interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications, code, debug, test, document, and communicate product/component/feature development stages. Additionally, you will validate results with user representatives, integrate and commission the overall solution, and influence and improve customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Code as per design following coding standards, templates, and checklists - Review code for team and peers - Create/review templates, checklists, guidelines, standards for design/process/development - Create/review deliverable documents, design documentation, and requirements test cases/results - Define and govern configuration management plan ensuring compliance from the team - Review and create unit test cases scenarios and execution, review test plan created by testing team, and provide clarifications to the testing team - Advise Software Developers on design and development of features and components with a deep understanding of the business problem being addressed for the client - Manage delivery of modules and/or manage user stories - Perform defect RCA and mitigation, identify defect trends, and take proactive measures to improve quality - Create and provide input for effort estimation for projects - Consume and contribute to project related documents, share point libraries, and client universities - Execute and monitor release process - Contribute to creation of design (HLD LLD SAD)/architecture for Applications/Features/Business Components/Data Models - Clarify requirements and provide guidance to development team, present design options to customers, and conduct product demos - Set FAST goals and provide feedback, understand aspirations of team members and provide guidance opportunities, ensure team is engaged in project - Take relevant domain/technology certification Qualification Required: - 5+ years of professional experience in PHP backend development - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 (Commerce or Open Source) - Strong understanding of OOP, MVC frameworks, and design patterns - Proficiency with MySQL, RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML - Experience in version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows - Knowledge of server-side performance tuning and caching mechanisms (Redis, Varnish, etc.) - Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and basic server management - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities,
