Description
As a Lead I specializing in SAP S4/HANA Data Migration at UST in Bangalore, KA, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of end-to-end data migration strategies for SAP S/4HANA projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating in the development and execution of data migration strategies for SAP S/4HANA projects. - Analyzing legacy data systems to identify issues, redundancies, and gaps, and ensuring data readiness for migration through data profiling and quality assessments. - Developing and implementing data cleansing rules and workflows, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading using SAP and relevant tools to meet S/4HANA requirements. - Collaborating with business and functional teams to define data mapping rules, understand requirements, and ensure accurate data conversions. - Utilizing SAP migration tools like the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, or LSMW for ETL processes. - Designing and executing data validation scripts and reconciliation procedures to verify data accuracy post-migration. - Maintaining comprehensive documentation of data migration procedures, data mappings, and transformation rules. - Proactively identifying and resolving data migration issues, offering timely troubleshooting support. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP data migration, including at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA migration project. - Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC data structures across key modules like FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, with a focus on supporting manufacturing environments and manufacturing accounting best practices. - Proficiency with SAP migration tools such as SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, or LSMW. - Experience with ETL processes, data cleansing, and validation techniques. - Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. Preferred qualifications include experience with master data governance, SAP Master Data Governance, SAP certifications in data migration or S/4HANA, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Sage ERP software, Dynamics CRM, Salesforce CRM, SANA eCommerce, or other eCommerce platforms.
