Lead I - Embedded Testing

As a Testing Specialist at UST in Coimbatore, you will be responsible for developing new testing techniques, providing leadership in selecting technical solutions, and ensuring maintenance and performance standards are met. You will play a crucial role in improving test coverage, creating test estimates and schedules, and identifying clients" business processes for risk analysis. Your key responsibilities will include validating automation scripts, ensuring the performance of new modules and systems, publishing RCA reports and preventive measures, reporting testing progress, and contributing to revenue savings for clients through suggesting alternate methods. You will be expected to create and execute test scripts efficiently, minimize defect leakage, increase test case reuses, enhance test execution coverage, maintain a low defect acceptance ratio, and improve test review and rework efficiency. Your outputs will involve participating in test design reviews, walkthroughs, and demos, obtaining stakeholder sign-offs, and preparing test summary reports for modules and features. You will also be involved in requirements management, project management, domain relevance identification, estimate preparation, and knowledge management through best practices, lessons learned, and retrospectives. Your skills as a Testing Specialist should include the ability to create and manage test plans, prepare schedules based on estimates, track and report progress, identify test scenarios, conduct RCA, capture and report metrics, and prepare risk plans. It is also essential to have knowledge of estimation techniques, testing standards, test design techniques, RCA techniques, test methodologies, and embedded C programming testing concepts, Python, and automation scripts. Additionally, you may be involved in Vehicle Diagnostic Testing, where your skills in vehicle diagnostics, testing, and embedded systems will be utilized.
