Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for interpreting the application/feature/component design, coding, debugging, testing, documenting, and communicating product/component/feature development stages. You will also be validating results with user representatives, integrating and commissioning the overall solution, and selecting appropriate technical options for development. Your role will involve optimizing efficiency, cost, and quality, as well as influencing and improving customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be setting FAST goals for yourself and the team, providing feedback on FAST goals of team members, and adhering to engineering processes and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret the application/feature/component design and develop the same in accordance with the specifications - Code, debug, test, document, and communicate product/component/feature development stages - Validate results with user representatives, integrate and commission the overall solution - Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving, or reconfiguring existing components or creating own solutions - Optimize efficiency, cost, and quality - Influence and improve customer satisfaction - Set FAST goals for self/team and provide feedback on FAST goals of team members - Adhere to engineering process and standards (coding standards) - Adhere to project schedule/timelines - Identify technical issues during the project execution - Address defects in the code and post-delivery - Ensure on-time completion of mandatory compliance trainings - Code as per design and follow coding standards, templates, and checklists - Review code for team and peers - Create/review templates, checklists, guidelines, and standards for design/process/development - Create/review deliverable documents, design documentation, and requirements test cases/results - Define and govern configuration management plan and ensure compliance from the team - Review and create unit test cases, scenarios, and execution - Review test plan created by the testing team and provide clarifications - Advise Software Developers on design and development of features and components with a deep understanding of the business problem being addressed for the client - Manage delivery of modules and/or manage user stories - Perform defect RCA and mitigation, identify defect trends, and take proactive measures to improve quality - Provide input for effort estimation for projects - Consume and contribute to project-related documents, sharepoint libraries, and client universities - Review the reusable documents created by the team - Execute and monitor the release process - Contribute to the creation of design/architecture for Applications/Features/Business Components/Data Models - Clarify requirements and provide guidance to the development team - Present design options to customers and conduct product demos - Set FAST goals, provide feedback, understand aspirations of team members, and ensure team engagement in the project - Take relevant domain/technology certification Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on data migration projects - Demonstrable expertise in ETL/ELT processes and methodologies - Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) - Mandatory - Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines for various data sources and destinations - Strong proficiency in Python/PySpark for data manipulation, scripting, and automation - Expert-level SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and optimization - Solid experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation and management - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform, for deploying and managing Azure resources - Excellent understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data governance principles - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment,
