Lead - Financial Accounting

You will be responsible for supporting the Manager - Financial Accounting as a Skilled accountant/Domain expert. Your main duties will include ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with established principles and policies. This involves reconciling the General ledger to Subledger, managing the financial close process, and complying with financial standards and controls framework. Your role will also require a solid understanding of relevant systems to ensure correct processing of financial transactions, including applying basic accounting concepts such as Debits/Credits and Control accounts. - Ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions - Reconciling the General ledger to Subledger - Managing the financial close process - Complying with financial standards and controls framework - Understanding relevant systems for correct processing of financial transactions - Applying basic accounting concepts such as Debits/Credits and Control accounts Additionally, you will be accountable for the completeness and accuracy of various trackers, reviewing reconciliations in line with best practices and risk assessment methodology. It will be essential to adhere to timelines and prioritize accuracy to prevent surprises in balance sheets. You will play a key role in identifying accounting issues in Balance sheet reconciliations and proposing solutions. As a go-to person for the team, you will liaise with different IT teams and Business teams, offering expertise in accounting and reconciliation matters. - Ensuring completeness and accuracy of various trackers - Reviewing reconciliations in line with best practices - Identifying accounting issues in Balance sheet reconciliations - Proposing solutions for identified issues - Liaising with IT teams and Business teams for accounting and reconciliation matters Furthermore, you will support Internal and External Audit activities and uphold the Business Code of Conduct by consistently acting with integrity and due diligence.
