As part of the team, you will focus on continual improvement and work iteratively to deliver exceptional value through connected products and services that amaze and delight customers worldwide. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review code submissions to ensure quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to engineering best practices - Clarify technical doubts and guide the team through complex problem-solving and architectural decisions - Collaborate with the Product Owner to clarify requirements, communicate team questions, and ensure alignment on deliverables - Design and oversee the development of scalable microservices supporting the virtual assistant platform - Ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and successful deployment of ML models in production environments - Lead and mentor the backend engineering team, conducting regular 1:1 meetings for guidance, feedback, and professional growth **Qualifications Required:** - Strong experience in Golang development with a proven track record in production systems - Extensive experience building and maintaining high-traffic microservices and distributed systems - Hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration - Proficiency with AWS services including S3, Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, ECR, ECS, and EKS - Working knowledge of Helm and Terraform for infrastructure automation and management - Experience with Datadog for monitoring, observability, and system performance analytics - Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development best practices At Toyota Connected, you will enjoy top-of-the-line compensation and be trusted to manage your own time and workload like the professional you are.
