Lead Engineer Senior

As an Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing multimedia applications and systems with a focus on the GStreamer multimedia framework. Your role will involve a deep understanding of multimedia processing, pipeline architecture, and working on complex projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize multimedia applications and systems - Utilize your expertise in GStreamer plugins development and majority in Multimedia framework - Demonstrate strong programming skills in C and C++ for embedded systems - Contribute to AI/ML applications development and have exposure to Linux solutions - Possess strong skills in multi-threaded programming, synchronization, IPCs, and software design - Guide a team of engineers effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams - Have knowledge of software development processes and experience with media frameworks like ffmpeg, directshow, stagefright - Familiarity with V4L2, Pulseaudio, Alsa, OpenGLES is a plus Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years OR PhD with 1+ year - 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Qualcomm is committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
