Lead Engineer I - FPGA RTL

You will be a senior FPGA RTL Designer at our start-up based in Bengaluru & Delhi NCR, focused on the development of next-generation missions and technologies for the Indian defence forces. Your main responsibility will be to work on cutting-edge drone and robotic platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with key stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical inputs to freeze project requirements. You will create architecture and documentation for the project, implement RTL coding/design in VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog, and conduct design simulation, synthesis, verification, timing analysis, and closure. You will participate in project reviews and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating team members and stakeholders on the project's progress. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in implementing complex designs in Xilinx/AMD FPGAs/MPSoCs, designing with Xilinx/AMD RFSoC family devices, and proficiency in Verilog/VHDL/System Verilog. You should also be skilled in using Xilinx FPGA tools like Vivado, iSIM, Chipscope, Vitis, and have experience in testing and debugging hardware. A strong background in digital signal processing on FPGAs and experience in RF projects such as 5G, Communications, radar, radios are essential. Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills are crucial for this role. You should be able to work in a challenging environment to deliver high-quality results. Having knowledge of Xilinx SoC SDK, Petalinux, experience with RTOS, embedded software development, Altera/Intel FPGA/SoC platforms, and familiarity with DO-254 compliance would be advantageous. Experience in aerospace or UAV projects is also a plus. The basic requirements for this position include a B.E/M.E in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science and 8 to 14 years of experience in engineering and R&D departments of relevant organizations.,
