Lead Engineer for Instrument Cluster design

As a Lead Engineer for Instrument Cluster Design, your role involves the complete design and development of Instrument clusters for 2 wheelers, 3 wheelers, and 4 wheelers. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparation of a Technical specification document based on inputs from Cross-Functional Teams (CFT). - Interacting with suppliers for the comprehensive design and development of Instrument clusters. - Conducting Design reviews and DFMEA reviews with CFT/suppliers to ensure the best Design and superior quality of the product. - Performing schematic reviews for electronic circuits with CFT/supplier to ensure the proper functionality of the Instrument cluster as per requirements. - Conducting Design reviews for the mechanical packaging of Instrument clusters to ensure product quality and reliability. - Reviewing timelines with CFT/suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of the product. - Defining design validation parameters for the complete validation of the Instrument cluster as per international/Internal standards/certifications. - Benchmarking new technology in the market for Instrument clusters. - Resolving all quality/reliability problems reported from internal testing during validation before series production. - Resolving warranty/Customer quality problems raised from the field using QC tools and countermeasure action. Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/E&TC Specific Expertise: - Experience in display technologies, Bluetooth + Wi-Fi for automotive. - Hands-on experience in CAN-based control units with a good understanding of UDS protocol. - Good knowledge of EMI EMC requirements for automotive components.
