As a Lead Engineer - Automation Testing, you will play a crucial role in spearheading and managing the automation testing initiatives within our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to devise and implement automation strategies, frameworks, and scripts, ensuring the high quality and efficiency of our software products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop functional and automated tests and test harnesses for applications under test. - Strategize and execute End-to-End System verification Testing. - Collaborate with software developers to implement integration and verification automation across all levels of the software stack and system. - Author and review functional and automated tests and test harnesses for applications and Systems under test. - Review verification results to ensure compliance with our quality management system. - Utilize performance/load testing tools for profiling and drive testability and diagnostic capabilities into the product. - Provide guidance to team members in diagnosing bugs/defects and devising solutions. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). - 6-8 years of experience in developing automated tests through testing and verification activities. The company expects you to be proficient in BDD, Data-driven, and Hybrid automation frameworks, particularly cucumber & JBehave. Your expertise should also include automation development using Selenium, Squish, and Core Java. Additionally, familiarity with Ubuntu, Linux, Windows OS, network protocols, bugs/defects lifecycle, and HP ALM or equivalent product lifecycle management tools is desired. In this role, you will need to comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and relevant laws and regulations. Completing all planned Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines is crucial for this position.
