Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced *Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer* to lead the development of innovative embedded hardware systems. This role involves end-to-end hardware design, validation, and leadership of a hardware engineering team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded products that meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Design Leadership:

Lead the architecture, design, and development of embedded hardware platforms (MCU/MPU-based systems, sensors, power electronics, etc.).

Schematic & PCB Design:

Design schematics and high-speed, multilayer PCB layouts using tools like Altium, OrCAD, KiCAD, etc.

Component Selection & BOM Optimization:

Select suitable components, considering performance, cost, and availability. Optimize the Bill of Materials (BOM).

Hardware Validation & Testing:

Develop and execute test plans for hardware validation, including power, signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and thermal testing.

Firmware Collaboration:

Work closely with embedded software teams to ensure hardware-software integration and resolve interface issues.

Team Leadership:

Mentor junior engineers, review designs, and manage project timelines and deliverables.

Compliance & Certification:

Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements (FCC, CE, RoHS, etc.) and assist in certification processes.

Product Lifecycle Support:

Support products through their entire lifecycle including prototyping, production, and post-launch troubleshooting.
