Lead Electrical AIT Engineer

As a Lead Electrical AIT Engineer at PierSight Space, you will be part of a pioneering team dedicated to building the world's largest constellation of Synthetic Aperture Radar and AIS satellites for comprehensive ocean surveillance. Backed by prestigious institutional investors, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the space technology industry. **Responsibilities:** - Create technical documentation including test procedures, test matrix per AIT phase, test scripts, and test reports. - Oversee electrical AIT operations/processes in collaboration with the QC to ensure correct completion. - Generate Spacecraft Electrical Ground Support Equipment requirements and prepare the necessary equipment. - Conduct investigations to resolve non-conformances and anomalies. - Support environmental tests such as Thermal Vacuum Tests, Vibration Tests, Acoustic Tests, and EMI/EMC Tests at the satellite level. - Propose solutions in alignment with the schedule/process in place for anomalies. - Support the launch campaign, which typically lasts between 5 to 8 weeks. - Adhere to and maintain ISO 14644-1 standard for cleanrooms. - Complete activities within the allocated/foreseen duration and resources. - Work proficiently in English. **Required Skills:** - Utilization of electrical tools and test aids (probes, multi-meters, scopes, break-out boxes, etc.). - Good knowledge of signal electrical characterization. - Familiarity with Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSEs). - Mate/demate connections. - Non-conformance reporting. - Procedure and test script writing. **Desired Skills:** - A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, aerospace engineering, or equivalent. - 3+ years of experience in integration and testing of complex and highly integrated systems. - Hands-on experience in hardware development. - Experience in writing test scripts. - Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. - Preferably demonstrated "hands-on" experience in engineering domains and interdisciplinary experience.,
