Lead Designer- Piping

You will be joining Hanwha Ocean's Offshore Business Division as a Lead Piping Designer, playing a crucial role in conducting piping design and drafting for FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities under the supervision of Principal/Lead Engineer or Principal Designer. Your expertise in Topsides Piping Design and hands-on experience in platforms like AVEVA E3D/PDMS and AutoCAD will be instrumental in driving exceptional project execution and knowledge-driven operational models. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide support to Head of Discipline, Principal/Lead Engineer, or Principal Designer - Conduct Piping Design, Drafting, and 3D Modelling - Develop Piping Design Database in Engineering Management Platform - Prepare and review various piping study drawings, equipment layouts, piping GA drawings, isometrics, line lists, valve lists, special support sketches, and special item lists - Participate in model reviews and comment closure at various stages - Review Vendor Documents, Engineering deliverables, and Piping Deliverables - Prepare and Review as-built Piping deliverables - Provide inputs to lead engineer for managing interfaces between multiple disciplines - Check final documentation, including 3D models, drawings, and reports before submission for approval to project piping lead **Qualifications:** - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent - Minimum 15 years of working experience with 5 years in the Oil and Gas industries (FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor) - Minimum 1 FPSO/FLNG/Offshore FEED/EPCI Project experience as a Piping Designer - Proficiency in Piping Design Tools such as AutoCAD, AVEVA E3D, PDMS - Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to piping and valve material specifications - Good command of English with strong oral and written communication skills Hanwha believes in the importance of diversity and inclusion, considering them as crucial elements for success.
