Lead Data Warehouse Engineers

Role Overview: As a Data Architect at Systech Solutions, Inc., you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining the Operational data stores (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and associated data intelligence environments. You will design and implement high-performance data movement pipelines using various ETL tools, develop scalable frameworks for ingestion of structured and semi-structured data, and lead Master Data Management and Data Governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and maintain ODS, EDW, data lakes, data marts, and metadata repositories - Design and implement high performance data movement pipelines using ETL tools - Develop scalable frameworks for ingestion of structured and semi-structured data - Gather business and information requirements from various product owners - Design data architecture and data flow diagrams - Conduct design review sessions and communicate design artifacts with stakeholders - Deliver proofs of concept to project stakeholders and internal technology leaders - Lead and coordinate the design and operationalization of Master Data Management and Data Governance initiatives - Support delivery of additional project components associated with cloud data platform - Problem-solving of Data warehouse and ODS application issues and production errors Qualifications: - Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field preferred - 8+ years of overall software development experience primarily with Data warehouse applications - 3+ years of hands-on development experience in Cloud-based data warehouse platform primarily AWS Redshift - 2+ years of development experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Azure Data Factory - 3+ years of development experience with Python scripting - 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Relational DBs like MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle - Strong knowledge and experience in OLAP data modeling & design - Expertise in performance tuning in various DB environments with large volumes of data - Experience building and scaling distributed, high available systems in cloud environments - Strong communication and professional skills with the ability to navigate relationships across business units Additional Details: Systech Solutions, Inc. is an all-inclusive data and analytics firm with over 30 years of experience and a global reach.
