Job Description

As a Lead Data Engineer at Manyata Tech Park, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Strong expertise in Java (8+) & Spring Boot for building RESTful microservices & enterprise integrations. - Hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem including HDFS, Hive/Spark, and Oozie/Sqoop for building production-grade data pipelines. - Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) across data services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Dataflow/Composer, & IAM/networking basics. - Experience in CI/CD & automation using Git-based workflows, familiarity with containerization & cloud deployment patterns. Nice to have: - Experience with schema management, data quality, lineage, & cost optimization on cloud data platforms. - Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid data movement & orchestration. In terms of leadership, you are expected to demonstrate: - Reliability, security, & performance while driving cross-team collaboration. - Proficiency in Agile practices, planning, demos, & managing delivery risks proactively. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science. - 8-12+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a lead role delivering complex systems & data pipelines in production environments.
