The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data engineering, particularly with Azure Databricks, Python, SQL, and ETL processes. You will lead data initiatives from conception through to execution and work closely with stakeholders to ensure data solutions are aligned with business objectives.### **Key Responsibilities:**- **Lead and Design:** Oversee the design and implementation of robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Databricks.- **Development:** Write clean, maintainable and efficient code in Python and SQL, leveraging best practices in data engineering.- **Collaboration:** Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data models, and design solutions that meet business needs.- **Data Quality:** Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data throughout its lifecycle.- **Optimization:** Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in data workflows and systems.- **Mentorship:** Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.- **Documentation:** Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, architecture, and interfaces.### **Required Skills:**- Proven experience (8-11 years) as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Azure Databricks.- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.- In-depth knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and best practices.- Experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.### **Preferred Qualifications:**- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques would be an advantage.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.### **Why Happiest Minds?**At Happiest Minds, we believe that the key to our success is our people.
