Job Description

Basic Function Design, develop, maintain and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, following well-defined standards and processes Able to test many application areas in depth and to drive continuous improvement in test coverage and test effectiveness Capable to learning internal and industry-standard QA testing methodologies, processes and technical testing tools/applications. Able to execute functional/regression testing of entire application, validate and regress bug fixes Able to set priorities, accommodate requirement and resource changes Analyze the defects in an N-tiered environment Work well both as part of a group and independently Participate in cross-functional Scrum teams utilizing the AGILE methodology Exceptional communicator, able to quickly read and write user specifications and documentation, as well as hold telephone conferences with clients and project staff. Good understanding of Healthcare Insurance terminology. Adhere with all policies and procedures applicable to the position, department, division and larger organization Essential Functions Software testing experience with enterprise and/or web based applications Able to perform unstructured and structured testing Understanding of Quality Assurance tools, techniques, standards and methods desired Using SQL to query database Skills Technical Skills Required Skills Experience in Manual testing Writing and executing Test Plans and Test Cases Experience with relational database structures and SQL System Functional, Integration and Regression testing, validate and regress bug fixes Skills Nice To Have Automation testing on any tool (Selenium, UFT) Preferred Cucumber Ruby Jira / Confluence / Test Case Repository experience Writing Test Cases in Cucumber / Gherkin as part of Behavior Driven Development to assist the Automation team Process Specific Skills Delivery domain Good knowledge of Agile, Scrum management methodology Working experience in Multi-Tier environment Working experience of understanding of detailed Technical and Functional design specification Health Care Domain (Preferred) Understanding of Health Care management vertical - Knowledge of Payers, Providers, Authorization / Claims processing / Health Plan / health Insurance / knowledge of HIPPA Soft Skills (Required) Good verbal and written communication Good analytical skills Strong Team player and mentor (depending upon the level of experience) Show more Show less
