Lead Assistant Manager-Application Development-Applications Development Engineering

You will be responsible for designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and DBT. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building and maintaining data integration workflows from various sources to Snowflake. - Writing efficient SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. - Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. - Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines for performance and reliability. - Maintaining and enforcing data quality, governance, and documentation standards. - Collaborating with data analysts, architects, and DevOps teams in a cloud-native environment. Your must-have skills should include: - Strong experience with Azure Cloud Platform services. - Proven expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating data pipelines. - Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and transformation. - Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SnowSQL for data warehousing. - Practical knowledge of DBT (Data Build Tool) for transforming data. - Experience working in cloud-based environments with large datasets. Good-to-have skills for this role may include experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, or Azure Functions, familiarity with Python or PySpark for custom data transformations, understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps, exposure to data governance tools, and knowledge of business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau. Qualifications required for this position are a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, along with 5-10 years of experience in data engineering roles using Azure and Snowflake.
