As a Lead Architect - Product Development at Hitachi Pentaho, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of sophisticated software solutions that accelerate data fitness within organizations. Your responsibilities will include: - Strong problem-solving skills and system design expertise. - Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or Kotlin (expert in at least one). - Demonstrated ability to work across multiple technologies, platforms, and programming languages. - Experience leading development initiatives and delivering complex features with minimal supervision. - Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and best practices. - Ability to play lead/architect roles for the features/modules you own. - Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design. In this role, you will own and deliver key product features end-to-end, provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, drive architecture decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high standards of code quality, security, and maintainability. Your continuous exploration, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies will maximize development efficiency. Preferred/Bonus Skills: - Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. - Prior experience in architecting distributed, scalable systems.
