Description
As a Java Backend Developer at CGI, you will play a crucial role in software engineering, with a focus on development and integration of various systems. You should be an individual performer capable of working independently with minimal guidance. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing interfaces, web-based applications, and Restful web services using technologies such as APACHE CAMEL, Maven, GROOVY, Java, JPA, Spring, Apache Tomcat Server, Apache Drill, Eclipse, STS, Git, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server. - Working on integrations using Apache Camel, Apache CXF, Java, Spring boot, JPA, Microservices, JSON Web Token(JWT), SAFe, and Angular. Additionally, you will become part of a Workforce management solution development team. Strong experience in Java, Apache Camel, Springboot, REST API's, Microservices with MS SQLServer database, Azure app services, Java Enterprise editions, and Junit is required. You should also possess the following qualities: - A team player with a high degree of taking strong ownership over tasks and assignments. - Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written in English. - High business acumen. Your qualifications for this role should include: Primary Skills (must-have skills): - Apache Camel Java or higher version - Rest API using Spring boot, JPA, Microservices - MS SQL Server database - Java Enterprise Editions (JEE), Azure App services To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
