Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, including supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, and ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes. Key responsibilities include planning and directing food preparation, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene, and developing new menu items. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for training and mentoring staff, maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Qualifications Strong culinary skills in various cuisines and techniques Proven experience in kitchen management and food safety protocols Excellent leadership and team management abilities Creativity in menu planning and presentation Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Certifications in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience Previous experience in luxury hospitality is a plus
