Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor Qualification : B.Tech in Civil Engineering Experience : 10 + years in Planning, Billing, and Project Coordination Job Location : Head Office, Vyttila, Kochi Key Responsibilities: Planning, scheduling, and resource management across all ongoing projects. Preparation of RA (Running Account) Bills and tracking against Daily Progress Reports (DPR). Coordination with Accounts Department for reconciliation of bills. Procurement of materials, including rate negotiation with vendors. Management of subcontractors, including verification and tracking of their bills. Coordination with project sites and internal departments for seamless project execution. Rate comparison: BOQ estimate vs. actual site execution. Tender-related tasks: Reviewing tender documents and analyzing rates for each BOQ item. Guide and support the project team to ensure timely completion of tasks. Train and mentor subordinates to meet deadlines and resolve on-site challenges. Validate material quantities before procurement against BOQ; report discrepancies to management. Handle official correspondences with KWA (Kerala Water Authority). Reconcile material usage and prepare material reconciliation reports. Prepare and issue work orders and purchase orders.
