Job Summary We are looking for a Design Engineer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in designing sheet metal parts and assemblies using SolidWorks . The ideal candidate should be capable of creating accurate 3D models and flat patterns based on provided samples, sketches, and technical inputs. Responsibilities Create 3D models of sheet metal parts and fabricated assemblies in SolidWorks. Prepare 3D models based on samples, sketches, and design requirements, and generate DXF flat patterns for laser cutting. Understand client requirements and translate them into accurate design outputs. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) based on the completed designs. Assist in prototype development using laser cutting and CNC bending processes. Perform any additional design or 3D modelling tasks assigned by management. Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in SolidWorks design within the sheet metal industry . Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred). Certified SolidWorks training/course. Good understanding of sheet metal processes, bend allowances, tolerances, and manufacturing workflows. Ability to work independently, follow deadlines, and maintain high design accuracy.
